Swedish OptiGroup acquires Facility Trade Holding

OptiGroup today announces the acquisition of Facility Trade Holding, a Dutch distributor specialized in hygiene and cleaning products, foodservice items, and personal protective equipment. With this acquisition, OptiGroup strengthens its position in the Dutch B2B facility supplies market. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
Facility Trade Holding BV achieved a turnover of EUR 24 million in 2021 and is a full-service distributor of hygiene and cleaning products, non-food catering items, workwear, and personal protective equipment in the Netherlands. The acquisition aligns with OptiGroup’s strategy to further develop its business portfolio and establish leading positions in attractive market segments across Europe. Facility Trade Holding will become part of OptiGroup’s facility operations in the Benelux and will continue to operate under its current brand names Facility Trade Group and Dirksen.
